We met the modern way: on a dating app. Michael planned a very nice first date, but Emily wasn’t quite ready for that much effort yet (and really wanted to watch March Madness), so we compromised and ended up at a sports bar—which, as it turns out, was the perfect place for us. What started with casual conversation, good food, and a practically unwatched Texas Tech Basketball game became something much more. From that night on, we knew we had found a teammate, best friend, and forever partner in each other.

From music festivals, ski trips, and attending practically every Texas Tech sporting event we’ve spent the last two years adventuring together. We’re excited to embark on our greatest adventure yet — Marriage.
